Teak is one of the best performing woods for outdoor use because of its dense, tight grain and high oil content, making it less likely to warp, split, rot and attract insects.
If left to the elements and untreated, expect that the finish will naturally become uneven in appearance and gradually shifts to the natural gray Teak coloration with age.
This silver-gray color transformation does not in any way affect the durability of the furniture. Depending on exposure, every 12 months or once the finishing starting to fade, your furniture will need to be refinished.
